It will be interesting to see what type of attention Snoozy receives from college volleyball coaches beginning on June 15 because the basketball coaches already have jumped in with her. She reports scholarships on the hardwood from Iowa State, Creighton, Drake and others at this point. Snoozy shined during Heelan’s run to the volleyball state championship last November. The Crusaders won all nine sets they played in Coralville. They received 195 kills (.260) and 68.0 blocks from Snoozy, who made life miserable for opponents in the middle of the net. She jumps well, has long arms and good timing on the block. Snoozy provides power with her swing.
