About Mena

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my style as focused, aggressive, consistent and well rounded.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On the court, I am competitive and keep my mind focused on what needs to be done. My mental game is one of my strengths. I stay calm under pressure. For volleyball and all other sports, staying calm and having fun has always been a huge part of my personality as a teammate and has definitely helped me as a Captain and a leader.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Aside from volleyball, soccer, and tennis, I have been a part of National Junior Honor Society and 4-H. I have volunteered for our High School sport summer camps, concessions, and other programs/events while in high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been involved in multiple sports most of my life and have learned the importance of teamwork, leadership and leading by example through sportsmanship and hard work. I have been honored to have been Captain for my Varsity volleyball, travel volleyball, and soccer teams. I apply these qualities while working with kids within our school programs and events.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a school to continue playing volleyball while studying Dermatology.
