German can do a little of everything on the court, so we were glad to see her enter the fray in Des Moines. Her backcourt prowess took precendence at Midwest Live, but German has also logged reps as a pin hitter for Urbandale High School. This experience makes German particularly comfortable in the middle-back area, where she can cover plenty of space along the end line. Stocks are rising at Iowa Impact.

German stood out to me shortly into my scouting opportunity at the 2025 Northern Lights Qualifier. She’s a really good athlete that succeeded through six rotations. German makes up for not being a tall outside hitter with explosion off of the court and a big swing. She’s quick in the back row, moves well laterally and shows quick reflexes. German saw action on the Urbandale varsity last season and should move into a bigger role in 2025.
