Our multi-position theme persists with our next entry. Andreasen has been a shutdown middle blocker in the Nebraska Juniors gym, but her skill set has expanded as a junior with Lincoln Pius X. Last weekend’s event gave us a glimpse of Andreasen’s exceptional pin production and willingness to handle first contacts from the left side. Such a transition is rare at the prep level. Andreasen’s range has given the Thunderbolts a renewed edge after last year’s late-season surge to the Class B tournament. We could see a similar ascent this fall.
