Broderick had a game for the ages for the Jackets. Described as helpful, kind and positive by teammates and close ones, Broderick is not only a sound, consistent player, but is a true coach on the floor, constantly making sure teammates are in the right position on the floor. Broderick again produced from all six spots on the floor. She made the most of every ball that came to her finding different ways to put balls down. Broderick saw a number of solo and double blocks, but constantly put balls off them, over and around them for big points. Broderick had a big block in that final game and kept Harrison County out of rhythm with sound serves. Broderick said the team came into the game confident and working together, but did not come out strong enough in that first set, so they used it to win the second and third sets. She noted the Jackets had issues in the fourth set, but came together to pull it out in the fifth set. Broderick had 29 kills in the historic Nicholas County win.

Broderick brings sound leadership to the Jackets. Her club team dealt with some injuries and she has missed some games this year as the result of an injury, but Broderick bounces back even stronger. Broderick helps the Jackets control the net with her size and hits balls to many parts of the court to keep defenses guessing. Broderick is also a sound passer for Nicholas County.

The A.71 team has had its struggles this season with injuries among other things. However, that has not deterred Broderick from giving everything she has on every play throughout the season. Broderick has done a good bit in all six positions. She took strong swings and made nice passes Sunday playing a big role in making sure the A.71 team left Indianapolis with one win. That’s a testament to her character and upbringing.

Broderick is a force at the net when passes hit the target. Broderick moves her feet well then puts herself in good position to take good swings. Broderick is especially tough on the 31 balls and the slide swings. Broderick has sound technique on her blocks and can produce on her swings. Broderick had 180 kills, 98 solo blocks and 37 aces for the Jackets in the spring.
