Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
High velocity and intense. My high contact point and fast arm swing that terminates creates challenges for opponents, as well as a variety of smart, game IQ shots. I have an aggressive mindset while blocking and strive to have my hands pressed over on every ball. I thrive off of high pressure, high intensity situations.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Mentally tough, driven, passionate, and coachable. I seek growth in all areas of my life, on and off the court. Whether it is a physical, mental, emotional, social, or spiritual aspect, I am committed to becoming a better person and player. I continue to set high goals and work diligently to obtain those goals. I use a positive attitude to embrace challenges and learn from failures.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Academic achievement award 4.0 GPA (Top of Class),
youth Group involvement, volunteer at the ministry of The Banquet (Sioux Falls, SD-provides love in action through meals and fellowship), and outreached to local nursing homes.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed a selfless attitude of what is best for the team comes before me as an individual. My desire for the team to succeed comes from my competitive nature, and I am passionate to be a leader that brings the best out of my teammates. I work hard to encourage my teammates in ways specific to them and their personality.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My freshman year, I played in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) State Volleyball Tournament as Western Christian High School (Hull, IA) marked its 24th consecutive state appearance. Playing in such high pressure games was a mental challenge for me that sparked a lot of growth. I was nervous to start (as I had all season as the M1), but I learned to relax and focus on my game.
What type of college are you looking for?
A college with a strong academic and athletic program that prioritizes student athletes' academic and personal success on and off the court. A college that pushes players to strive for growth and encourage each other.
