With 395 total kills in 2024, Meiring (*pictured) was second in the GCL in total kills as she earned 1st team all-league and third team all-Ohio honors for DV. She was also third overall in the league with 271 total digs. The 5’11 outside hitter can bring some pace. She sees the court well and has good command of her arm to be able to swing with full range. With Meiring swinging this fall, Fenwick should stay among the top teams in the GCL this season.

The 5’11 Meiring is among a solid corps of offensive weapons for Elevation ‘s top 16U team. She can swing aggressively through multiple attack points in their offense. As she gets good lift off the floor, she displays good command of her control and shot making when needing an adjustment upon contact. She and her Elevation team open play in Pool 6 and are capable of making a good run towards the podium.

As a sophomore, Meiring (*pictured) led Bishop Fenwick’s 2024 offense at 4.0 k/s through 289 total kills while picking up over 200 digs. The 5’11 pin plays with confidence and good control in her movement as a left side attacker. She understands the game well as a primary hitter and has developed good range in her hitting effort to be able to score in a variety of ways and from different locations. Power and finesse are part of her toolkit and she has the ability to bring it when she is on time and has a little space to swing through.

Meiring gives Elevation 16 Goller solid play at all six spots on the court. She constantly moves her feet and makes plays. Meiring had a big pancake dig in one game Saturday. She also had a number of big swings. Meiring said it’s a matter of doing what she can to help the team win.

Mering (pictured) is trying to turn into a solid all-around player for the Falcons. Meiring is a reliably accurate hitter for Fenwick. She puts a lot of power into balls starting from her legs up, sending them screaming to the floor. Meiring can hit and shove balls off blocks for big points. Meiring is also a sound defender for Fenwick. Meiring finished second in the GCL Co-Ed with 395 kills and third with 271 digs to go with 47 aces, helping Fenwick finish Division V state runner-up.
