About Morgan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a strong team player who focuses on communication and reading the game, adapting my play based on the opponent's strategy. I excel in defensive play with my fast reflexes and ability to dig up tough attacks, often covering the backcourt effectively as a libero.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Over the years, I have been able to have positive self-talks, and goal setting session's, and using strategies to stay focused and confident during high-pressure situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of an all African American club called Dream Big. The club provides the opportunity to assist with maintaining grades, observe colleges and high schools and helps students to look towards the future and to be successful. Another club I am apart of is caIled Morgirls with Goals. The club participates with various community events. I’ve also received numerous awards for academics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Good team and communication skills. As well as good pivoting skills and excellent quickness. Strong arms as well as legs.

What type of college are you looking for?

The location of the college, academic reputation, program strength in my intended major, campus culture, and affordability that are important to me.

Morgan provided steady ball control throughout the session. She was a consistent passer who covered a large amount of court and helped stabilize serve receive. Morgan shared that serving is one of her strongest skills, using strength and placement to score points for her team.

She is working to improve her setting through private sessions and focused training, with goals of becoming a stronger leader and building confidence. A former competitive gymnast, Morgan brings balance and body control that translate well to her defensive game.

Her reliability and discipline made her a valuable contributor on this court.
