Axton is a talented multi-sport athlete. She had an excellent freshman basketball season on varsity and is a solid sand player in the summer. We like her powerful right arm from the outside- Axton isn’t shy about unloading a wicked swing when she has an opportunity to score, and her sand skills show up when she is playing defense in the back row. At 5’11”, Axton has great size for the position, and she combines that with an admirable willingness to compete for the win.
