Tut is an outside hitter that I had the privilege to watch at a recent tournament in Rochester. While I knew she was young, I didn’t realize at the time that she was only in 8th grade as she certainly doesn’t play like it. Tut currently averages about 1.3 kills/set contributing to the offense on a successful team that is over .500 on the season. While Tut may be young, she already has a “toolbox” full of shots. She will hit the cross shot, will roll, and will also tip to open spots on the court to generate kills or get teams out of system.
