Her ability to cover the court, keep balls alive, and consistently deliver in serve receive has made her a key piece of Austin’s success this season.

Walsh was one of the players I was looking forward to seeing at the showcase. Being Austin’s first ever All State volleyball player, I knew she had put in a lot of work to get where she is. Once play started, it was easy to see why. She is solid in serve receive, moves well defensively, and does a great job covering her hitters. What impressed me most was how well she read the game. She seemed to know where the ball was going before it got there, which allowed her to get herself in position to make some really nice defensive plays. She does many of the little things well and that is what makes her such a valuable player on the court.

A defensive cornerstone, Addison Walsh Addison Walsh 5'4" | DS/L/OH Austin | 2027 State MN has amassed over 1,100 career digs, and it shows in her ability to control pace and dictate defensive momentum. Walsh thrives on serve receive consistency, low platform control, and pursuit mentality—her motor doesn’t quit. She reads seams early and gets her shoulders around tough balls, making high-quality touches look effortless. For college coaches looking for a libero with both grit and technical precision, Walsh brings that rare mix of reliability and edge. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas
