With 1A First Team all-state honors on her mantle, Olivia is a record-setting setter who can attack too. Although her future looks to be bright in the setting area, she can do both, which shows to her well-rounded skill set. With the ability to do all things for a consistently elite high school program, it becomes obvious why Miss Barber was voted to the first team all-state list multiple times in her storied career at Faith Christian.

As a first-team All-State honoree in class 1A, Olivia is fully capable of running whatever offense that’s needed at the next level. Smart with the ball and strong with her hands, her tempo is consistent to both pins regardless of where the pass might be. I like the quick footwork Olivia brings, as it makes those out-of-system passes seem not so out-of-system. High and soft hands also allow her to control the ball better than most; a rare skill in an era of “no doubles”. In only two years of varsity play, she’s already over 1500 assists in her illustrious career, making the 2000 assist mark in sight as a major milestone. Olivia might not be on everyone’s radar because she goes NORTH for her club ball, rather than south towards central Indiana, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from recognizing how skilled this young lady can be.
