The Emerald Ridge sophomore had a great event, showing her versatility as a setter, attacker, and blocker. Frederick has true 6’2″ length and the quickness and footwork to track down difficult second balls. When she takes swings, she is hard to stop; her leverage, power, and vision help her dominate defenses.

Frederick took swings from both pins, and her length proved difficult to stop. Versus Dakine she was working off the right side and found the gap in the block to terminate, displaying solid vision and feel as an attacker. Her length bothered hitters all tournament, and Frederick racked up her share of stuff blocks.

Frederick is a full 6’2 and has a solid arm swing from the either pin, the Emerald Ridge prospect is the top ranked right side in the first 2027 Prep Dig rankings. Her game is already showing improvement during the early club season for PSVBA 15 Legacy, Frederick is attacking the edge of the block and hammering balls down the line for kills. When she has an opportunity to swing from the pin her footwork is solid and she keeps the ball in front, allowing her to power through late blocks to score. As a blocker she eats up attackers on tight sets and generates tips and free balls with her presence at the net.
