2027 Attackers Lead the Way in Rankings Update

The outsides and right sides in the class of 2027 are an accomplished and athletic group of players. The top pin remains #1 overall OH [player_tooltip player_id='412070' first='Mara' last='Sandberg'] from Spokane. The rising senior from Gonzaga Prep was the go-to outside for CPA 18 Benson this club season; the team finished 3rd in Open at The Lonestar Classic, 13th at NIT Triple Crown, 2nd at the PNQ, and 9th in the 18 Open at USAV Nationals. Sandberg will play at The University of Tennessee after her senior season in Spokane.

[player_tooltip player_id='434974' first='Maddy' last='Conner'] is the #1 right side, and the Boston College commit had a tremendous club season with Space Needle. The 6'3" lefty is an impressive combination of length, power, and skill, and she can shut down outsides with her outstanding blocking. Conner will be in the ACC with BC after her senior year at Seattle Prep.

The class has players already committed to excellent beach programs and big-time softball, track, and basketball recruits who have signed or are entertaining multiple offers from high-major programs.

Peebles was the focal point of the WVBA 17 Adidas attack this club season, scoring from everywhere on the court and showing strong development as a pipe attacker and overall defender. The Mercer Island High School prospect has strong footwork and press as a blocker, and shows a good first touch and smart positioning on defense. Holland still has room to develop, and with her size and athleticism, she will be a valuable player along the front line in college.
