Pyle is a key piece in the TAV Houston 18 Black team that’s entered in the National Division. A high-scoring middle, she combines size, athleticism and vision in a very productive way for her team at the net. Pyle can hit many different sets in the middle, but also does well when working with high sets at the pin, and can be very difficult to stop when she gets going offensively. She’s very active with her blocking, too, reading the game well and showing great technique to get touches above the net.

Pyle is one of the standouts in the TAV Houston 17 Adidas team that will take the court in the 17 Open division. A TAPPS state champion with Providence Classical, she’s a high-scoring middle, who can carry her team’s offense and delivers in moments of pressure. Pyle can hit any sets in the middle with tremendous efficiency, but is often unstoppable when fed the shoot set, as she typically gets a big bounce in that play. Her excellent combination and length and mobility makes of her an elite blocker too, and she gets many touches up at the net when playing defense.

Pyle played a big role in TAV Houston 16 Adidas’ amazing campaign of seven wins that propelled them to earn a bid. She was extremely dominant in the middle, making a huge impact in the game on both sides of the ball and controlling the flow of the game. Pyle was in a league of her own offensively, displaying great chemistry with the team’s setters and hitting different sets with tremendous power and precision. She also stood out with her blocking, remaining alert at the net, moving very well and using her arms aggressively to get stops.

Pyle was one of the most impressive middles in the 15s in the last club season and will come back to show even more with TAV Houston 16 Adidas this year. A long and athletic player who makes a very explosive approach, she’s a strong point-scorer for the team, using her reach and power to put the ball down. Pyle also moves well on the court and is very smart with how she uses her arms to put pressure on opposing hitter when blocking. She played as an outside hitter for Providence Classical in the last high school season and can now also hit from the pin, besides having developed other areas of her game.

Pyle was a viable scoring option for her team TAV Houston 15 Adidas during the entire weekend. Capable of hitting different sets very efficiently and very effective because of her length and her ability to swing in different directions, she sided out at a really high rate from the middle. Pyle also made a good impact with her blocking, moving quickly at the net and placing her long arms aggressively across the net to take up space from opposing hitters.

Pyle continues to establish herself as one of the top middles in her age group in the Houston area. She played a big role in TAV Houston 15 Adidas’ triumph in the division, making a big impact on both sides of the ball at the net. Her long arms and quickness make of Pyle a very solid blocker, and that area of her game was in full display last weekend, but it’s her offense that’s making the most noise. She uses her length very well to overcome opposing blockers and can hit several different sets, which makes of her a very difficult player to defend against.

Pyle was easily one of the most dominant middles in action in the division. She played a big role for her TAV Houston 15 Adidas team, offering a consistent scoring option down the middle. She was set quite often and used her length and power to score on most occasions. Pyle also did very well with her blocking. She was reading the game very well and that gave her a head start to quickly get to the pins and get her area covered.
