Makenzie is now currently ranked as the 74th best overall prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Providence Classical High School and also plays for the Houston Skyline volleyball club. There are a few things that we know of for sure in this life. Everyone must pay taxes and when Miss Turosik signs up for a showcase, she will earn a Top Performer award. I make sure that she has a different court coach each time and it never fails that the new coach selects her as one of their nominees due to her work ethic, individual ball control performance, and attitude toward team chemistry. Her posture is always very disciplined as she moves toward the ball and during contact as well. What we truly love about her game is how she uses a very high volleyball IQ to be in the correct position to play the ball and also in her delivery of it to the next player whether that is the setter or giving the hitter the second ball during out of system plays. Because of her consistency over the past few years, she has not only earned this award, but we just awarded her placement amongst the state’s best as well. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at this showcase.

, a 2028 DS/L, brings a high level of discipline and consistency in serve receive. She holds her angle throughout the pass, uses a consistent split step, and lifts through her platform to create clean, controlled reps. Turosik never midlines and does a great job calling seams, showing strong communication and court awareness. Her ability to confidently pass both seams stood out, earning her a 2.5 in one of our short passing drills and reinforcing her reliability in the back row.

Please officially welcome Miss Turosik to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 74th best overall prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Providence Classical High School and also for the Houston Skyline volleyball club. We have had the pleasure of getting to know Makenzie for the past few years during the numerous showcases she has attended and all of our scouts really loved the intensity at which she performs at along with her coachability. She loves the game of volleyball and you can see the hunger she has to compete at a high level. There is no doubt in my mind that she is a player who can keep improving over the next few years. Her ball control is exceptional in the back row and she has a fantastic nose for the ball. While moving toward the ball and especially while playing the ball, she has such a disciplined posture that stays low at all times. We are proud of her hard work and are very happy to have her listed with our publication. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot amongst the top players in our State Rankings.

is someone who we know well at Prep Dig as she has attended quite a few of our events. In every session, she has earned a Top Performer award due to her amazing athleticism, supreme ball control, tenacity on defense, and her character on and off of the court. She is one of those young ladies who has a relentless pursuit of the ball on defense and has no regard for her own body as she goes all out to keep the ball from hitting the floor. When it comes to a back row floor general who will showcase a lead by example in every facet of the game, look no further. Miss Turosik has impeccable ball control due to her great attention to detail with her form and technique. Her platform must have ball magnets imbedded because the ball just seems to find her forearms perfectly. What also stands out about her technique is how low she is while moving toward the ball. While most players tend to stand a little as they move, Makenzie keeps her posture very disciplined and low. This helps her to be extremely efficient and effective while passing and playing defense. She is definitely one player to watch.

We love us some Makenzie as she has been a staple at our events over the past few years. She always brings such a wonderful attitude and hypes up her entire court with her play and leadership. Miss Turosik is no stranger to accolades as she has earned a top performer award a few times at our showcases and this has led us to place her on our official Watch List. We cannot wait to have her impeccable ball control leading the way for her squad’s offense to flourish. Defensively, she is a genius in the back row as she possesses fast twitch muscle fibers that fire away to put her in position to dig hard driven balls and deflections that can catch you off-guard. If there is one thing I know about Kenz it is that she will outwork a lot of people so that she can attain her goals. I am looking forward to seeing what she has added to her ball control bag at the showcase.

A state champion as a freshman with Providence Classical, Turosik played a major role for the team as a libero. She plays with incredible maturity on the court and has all the tools to develop into an elite player in the position. Turosik is very confident and efficient on the court and doesn’t shy away from stepping up as a defensive pillar, covering a lot of ground in serve-receive and playing with impressive determination on defense. The libero also has a very positive attitude on the court, constantly communicating with her teammates and leading by example with her hard work on the backcourt. Keep an eye out for her tough floater, which often generates aces and gets opponents out of system.

A freshman, Turosik was one of the pillars of her Providence Classical team that produced three wins and two losses at the Houston Open. Playing with impressive maturity and tremendous efficiency, the libero gave the team a lot of stability on the backcourt. Turosik covered a lot of ground in serve-receive and was very consistent with her passing. Because of her long frame, she also got several touches on defense, generating many transition plays. Turosik also played with great energy and determination, frequently hustling to recover shanked passes and digs that went backward or sideways.
