Piper has been on fire lately, leading her team to a regional playoff victory with an incredible 35 kills in just four sets. Just days earlier, she helped Adams-Friendship capture the South Central Conference Tournament title. In a key matchup against Wisconsin Dells, the conference’s top team, Piper delivered 16 digs and 16 kills, sparking her squad’s dominant performance and guiding them to a statement win.

I remember watching Piper Moyer Piper Moyer 5'10" | OH/RS Adams-Friendship | 2028 State WI this past club season when she played for Wisconsin Ice 16s.  She is going to be a rising prospect in the state at the outside hitter position where she knows how to score points.  She has been a key piece to her team’s 20-10 record, earning a five seed heading into tournament play.  She has averaged a staggering 6.2 kills per set.  The Green Devils will face Westfield on Tuesday with a potential matchup with a 2024 state tournament team in Aquinas in round two. 

Piper Moyer Piper Moyer 5'10" | OH/RS Adams-Friendship | 2028 State WI was a joy to watch this past club season for Wisconsin Ice where she played up an age group and she will be a player to know in Central Wisconsin .  She preps for Adams Friendship where they will be in the hunt for a South Central Conference title. She led the team with over 250 kills as a freshman and will be one others have to know where she is at each rotation because she will score from the front and backrow. 

Moyer was lighting it up on Saturday. She is a fun, explosive athlete to watch take major rips on the ball. Moyer is quick off the ground, and she doesn’t hesitate to build a roof over the ball to smother the opposing attacker’s attempt to score.

Moyer turns heads with big aggressive approach and violent armswing. She is another talented athlete that can score at will with a number of different shots. Moyer is springy and explosive with the ability to work a lot of different thumb down shots and terminate from either pin.

I haven’t seen too much of the northern Wisconsin players this season. So, when I was watching the Ice 16u, I was naturally impressed with Moyer and her abilities. She is explosive in her approach, can go up and over the block, and also knows how to adjust to go around it. Her power, ability to read the block, and her quick arm swing make her a force on the court. However, when I found out she was a 2028 my jaw about hit the floor. This girl is going places and I am going to be sure to keep tabs on her.

Piper Moyer Piper Moyer 5'10" | OH/RS Adams-Friendship | 2028 State WI has been a high volume point scorer, playing up an age group for Wisconsin Ice 16 National TJ.  At 5’10, Moyer has the length, but also has the bounce of an outside hitter.  She swings with no fear and is ready to put a hurt on the ball, causing chaos on the other side of the net.  She preps at Adams-Friendship High School where she will be a rising sophomore to watch.  Wisconsin Ice will be playing at the Prep Dig Gauntlet in Milwaukee the first weekend of June where Moyer is definitely one to have on the radar. 

Piper is a bit of a hidden gem in this class, if that is even possible at 15s. She plays at a high level in every rotation and can be an impact player across the front row. Her fundamentals are incredibly sound, and she is disciplined yet aggressive on the court. Piper has high-level court awareness and a great volleyball IQ. She provides a great balance of power and shot selection with every swing she makes. She is also very consistent in serve receive and scrappy on defense. Piper combines all of the different qualities coaches value about different positions and rolls them up into one standout athlete. Her intangibles and work ethic on the court are also huge difference-makers.

Another 2028 playing up an age group this weekend was Piper Moyer Piper Moyer 5'10" | OH/RS Adams-Friendship | 2028 State WI for Wisconsin Ice 16 NTJ.  I was able to see Moyer at the Prep Dig Resolution earlier in January and even in few weeks her game has improved.  There were a few moments where I wish I had video going because she had some huge highlights just hammering down the line.  She preps at Adams-Friendship in Central Wisconsin and will be a 2028 to have on the radar in Wisconsin and beyond. 

Another 2028 from the 16 Open division playing up and having big success was Piper Moyer Piper Moyer 5'10" | OH/RS Adams-Friendship | 2028 State WI .  The freshman was absolutely electric from the outside where she seemed to play so free, taking big swings, and scoring plenty of points.  She just bounces off the floor and has a high contact point where she can take it a variety of angles.  Her ceiling is extremely high.  As she develops her backcourt game as well as backcourt attacking she is going to be one of the top outside hitters in her class from Wisconsin.
