About Preslie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m good at tricking the block, and I’m very strong at setting the right side. I’m also a strong server, and picking up any tip or dump is easy to me. As far as outside I’m very good at sharp cross, and placing the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I think i'm a very joyful person, and I bring so much energy to my team. I think that I really bring a difference in energy. My mentality is I play for my teammates, and my job should be to put them in positions to be better.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership and teamwork I have definitely developed from volleyball. I’ve learned how to understand other people’s emotions better, and I’ve also learned what it means to be All-in.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Growing up playing volleyball, I’ve played multiple positions, so I am good at every position except for middle obviously. This has been a challenge for me to get a consistent spot on the court, because my ability to play every position is a pro and a con. The con is that I may not be playing until someone else needs to be subbed out, but the pro is that i’m a very good utility player.

What type of college are you looking for?

Somewhere that has a nice area, and the team is really close with each other. A positive environment, and somewhere that’s not too cold
