About Princess

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am swift, agile, and very versatile on the court. I would also include my powerful hits, strategic ball placements, and ability to “float” in the air.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am determined to always get better in everything I do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am part of the National Honor Society, an A Honor Roll student, and a small fun fact is that I won my Science Fair a year back.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I first started playing for club I had a challenges adapting to my new surroundings and going from a low-level volleyball to this high-level. I can proudly say I have adapted very well.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will allow me to preform my academic studies and still play volleyball at a high level.

For Princess, Juneteenth is a time to reflect on history and honor those who endured immense hardships.

To me, Juneteenth is a time to remember the struggles of African Americans and what they went through and honor their strength and courage.

Rather than pointing to one person, Princess finds inspiration in the people around her every day. She believes her family, coaches, and friends each provide valuable lessons and perspectives that help shape who she is. Princess sees volleyball and life as closely connected, with each helping her grow as a person.

My goal for volleyball is to ultimately reach the highest level while also pursuing a doctoral education.

She hopes the sport continues to shape her into a stronger woman while she works toward both athletic success and advanced academic achievements.
