Micho 16 Blue Smoke had quite a season in 2025 and Quinn Grevengoed Quinn Grevengoed 6'1" | OH Chicago Christian | 2027 State IL was a key player behind their success.  The outside hitter has length, athleticism, and is a solid six rotation player who can score from the front or backrow.  She preps at Chicago Christian where her team is currently sitting at 12-3.  She is putting up quite the statistic line where she leads the team in kills, hitting percentage, and aces.  

1st Team All-tournament. Quinn sets the tone with all-around play! Being versatile is a skill and an unmatched for this player that can be a blur on the court at times. Never taking a play off, punching the ball through defenders, and still having the poise to make the precision pass on reception as a defender. The tools and skills are being matched with heart. You can tell the work is being put in gym-wise, and she isn’t done yet. She is poised for a big breakout, and we all are here for it!

Grevengoed will be suiting up for Michio Chicago this year where this 16s team was fun to watch last club season.  They have plenty of balance and terminal attackers who can cause havoc on the other side of the net.  Grevengoed earned All State honors as a sophomore for Chicago Christian, a long line of Grevengoed sisters who have seen success on the volleyball hardwood. She is the type of outside hitter who doesn’t need a perfect set to terminate.  She is so tough out of system and can make something happen out of nothing.  This will be an exciting season for her and the Michio squad. 

Grevengoed is part of a very talented Michio squad that has plenty of athletes in our 2027 rankings.  She is a six rotation outside hitter who can find ways to score points.  Her last two steps into contacting the ball are textbook where she can accelerate into high contact point, allowing her to take it a variety of angles.  She is someone who can score out of system in the front and backrow.  She is averaging over four kills per set for Chicago Christian this fall.
