I lasted scouted Schroeder when she was competing at the 2025 Windy City qualifier. She stood out as a bouncy opposite pin capable of putting the ball down or blocking the attack. It was good to catch her again at the 2026 Impact Invite in Ankeny, when she helped Platform 17 Adidas to the 17/18U Gold Bracket championship. Schroeder looked to be building off of a junior season at DeWitt Central that saw her register 145 Kills (.266) and 42.0 blocks. The 11th-grader appears natural playing on the right-side. She adjusts well to sets and moves her body into the best position for an aggressive attack. Being 6-foot-1 with long arms helps her thrown up an effective block and generate torque in her swing.

Platform Elite 17 Adidas will be making the trip up from the Quad Cities to Minneapolis as they take on the 17 Liberty Division at the Northern Lights Qualifier.  One of the attackers to keep an eye on is Quinn Schroeder who preps at Centrall DeWitt High School can score points from the middle or right side.  At 6’0 tall, she has the length to take up space at the net with her block and can find ways to score points as well. 

Schroeder caught my attention pretty quickly when I was watching her Platform Elite team perform at the 2025 Windy City National Qualifier. She’s explosive hitting from the opposite pin, getting elevation and swinging with authority. Schroeder is committed to the block with solid timing and technique. She’s versatile enough to play elsewhere along the net. In a tough Mississippi Athletic Conference, Schroeder contributed in multiple areas as a sophomore. She finished the year with 98 kills, 27.0 blocks and 24 digs. Those statistics will likely go up significantly this coming campaign.
