About Reagan
Expert Analysis
Amy VanGuilder | Prep Dig Scout
While Essig may not be the tallest setter on the court, she has no problem running a 5-1. Her quickness and relentless hustle stand out right away, as she seems to find a way to get to every ball. She does a great job delivering sets that seem tailored to each of her hitters, putting them in positions where they can be successful. With a strong group of passers and attackers around her, she is likely to have a stellar senior year. I would not be surprised to see her lead her team on deep play off run come November.
