Reese Sokoloski Reese Sokoloski 5'10" | OH Marcus | 2030 TX is very tall 5’11” outside hitter in the class of 2030 and competes with TAV 15 Elite, one of the most competitive 15s rosters in North Texas. That combination of frame and club environment has been accelerating her development and the Dallas Freshman Showcase gave evaluators a chance to see the results in person. Her length at the pin was immediately apparent and the way she used it to generate attacking angles and close above the block showed a player whose physical tools and technical development are moving in the same direction at the same time. Court coaches noted her serve receive consistency and her back row engagement alongside her offensive production. She earned her Top Performer award by being effective across the whole game, not just in the moments where the ball was set to her. Sokoloski will play for Marcus in her freshman high school season and was with Texas Advantage in the recently ended club season. The outside hitter was one of the standouts in our Up Next showcase last summer and will be back to show how much progress she’s made in the past 12 months. A long and explosive outside hitter, Sokoloski has some serious scoring power. She gets off the floor very well and is excellent at finding ways around opposing blockers, scoring at a good clip also when set in the middle back position. The pin hitter has a strong all-around game and also makes an impact with her big, well-balanced blocking and with her determination and superior positioning when playing defense.

Reese Sokoloski brings a noticeable spark with her energy and constant involvement in the flow of the match. She moves well laterally and shows strong instincts reading the court, allowing her to stay one step ahead in longer rallies.
