Whiteside does a great job helping the Panthers control the net with her blocking. She goes up with a purpose and times up hitters nicely. Whiteside puts across hard crosses and deposits ones to different areas of the court. Whiteside sends balls down lines with a nice downward trajectory. Whiteside can get teams out of system with her jump serves.

Whiteside does a good job influencing the net with her timely jumps defensively. She is an outstanding communicator on the court. She is not afraid to shove balls to corners offensively. Whiteside said she’s been working on her power hitting, mainly getting her timing down. She’ll take some next steps as a hitter once that happens.

Whiteside gives Daviess County a great option on the outside. Whiteside pounds balls to the back line and can take things off to send soft ones to the middle. Whiteside also forms good double blocks. Whiteside had 149 kills, 27 solo blocks and 52 assisted blocks, helping Daviess County go 18-12 on the season.
