Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
It’s hard to imagine Rasmussen elevating her game beyond the standard she set during the regular season. She compiled a whopping 5.6 kills per set during the 2025 campaign and hit well north of 0.300. However, the overall team success of Laurel-Concord-Coleridge in Lincoln could place Rasmussen in new territory for our 2027 rankings. She demonstrated tremendous hustle as a hybrid player who could block in the middle and swing on the outside. Rasmussen shouldered a lot of responsibilities as LCC climbed to the C2 title match, and she’s ready to do it again in 2026.

Get used to seeing Rasmussen’s name on the stat sheet. The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge attacker has soared past 500 kills this year, placing her among Nebraska’s top scorers in any class. We’ve seen this L-C-C breakthrough building up over multiple seasons, so this feels like a long time coming for Rasmussen and the Bears. Time to capitalize.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has been a frequent discussion topic in the ever-evolving Class C1 arena. The 24-3 Bears are led by an electrifying sophomore who has put up some of the state’s best attacking numbers among underclassmen. She has piled up 4.5 kills per set on a 0.285 clip to help lift L-C-C to the No. 7 spot in the wildcard standings. This feature ought to be an indication of the drama we’re about to see in C1’s postseason push.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is another small-town squad on our radar for the 2024 season. The Bears dropped a hotly contested opener to Battle Creek, but Rasmussen led the way for LCC with 15 kills in three sets. She followed that up with a 19-kill performance against West Point-Beemer as Rasmussen’s team returned to the win column. This is just the start of what should be an impactful sophomore campaign.
