Rowan Johnson Rowan Johnson 6'1" | MB The Academy Of The Holy Cross (MD) | 2025 State VA also has the versatility to play both right side and middle. She plays mostly middle for Holy Cross, while for Virginia Juniors she played some right side.

Last year Holy Cross won the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC), finishing the season 29-0. The Washington Post voted them the number one team in the DMV area. While Emerson Sellman earned MVP honors in the WCAC the Tartans still needed Rowan to fill the middle to accomplish the feat. Rowan finished third on the team in both blocks and kills.

This year Rowan will be expected to be one of the main offensive pieces on the team (just committed to Akron).

The loss of Emerson Sellman will hurt. Rowan will try to fill the void. While she filled the middle spot for Virginia Jrs. this past season she also saw some time at the right side. This adds some versatility to her game.

She will be one of the leaders to a young group of players seeing high school volleyball for the first time.
