Ruby stepped into a big role for Wisconsin Ice this past weekend, and she absolutely rose to the occasion. She went after every ball with power and confidence. If you didn’t know better, you’d think she’d been with this team for years. She puts up a strong block, and her quick footwork keeps her ready to attack at all times.

Rengo was patrolling the entire net and she has really good reactions to go along with pretty quick lateral movement along the net. She has a natural high reach and fast swing that allows her to go over most blockers and score at will. If an overpass is coming her way you might as well give it a funeral because she will bury it.

Ruby is dynamic middle and right side from northwestern Wisconsin. This shinny gem has been hiding from us in the small town of Grantsburg, WI but certainly no more. Ruby is the complete package. She is tall, athletic, quick, has a lethal arm, reads the ball well, and puts up a huge block. I especially like her versatility in that she can hit shots to both corners out of the middle, hit hard down the line on a slide, and also terminate from the right side pin. Ruby makes it difficult for opponents as there is no easy way to stop her.
