About Rylee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as scrappy, hustling, quick, and an accurate libero. My serve receive consist of a 2.5 average as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very calm player especially in serve receive, but I know how to bring energy to the court. I am never the one to bring my teammates down, and I always try and make the best out of every situation.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of student council and I am also apart of interact club, which is a club where you volunteer regularly throughout the community. I have achieved many academic awards as well. I have achieved the Presidential Educational Award, Honors Butter Award, and Honor Roll. In volleyball I achieve the defensive player of the year award in high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my years of playing club and school volleyball I have learned many skills on how to be an effective leader. As a libero people trust in you, and so I’ve taken that responsibility to lay out for every ball possible.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was born, I was born with a club foot. I’ve had multiple surgeries to fix it, but all of those surgeries led me to have two different sized feet. One would be concerned with my ability to play volleyball because of that, but even with my condition I take my training to the next level to be the best I can be.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that is academically selective. I want to pursue law in college and become a criminal defense lawyer. To do this a college that will make me stand out will help me on that journey.
