Weiss caught my eye with a really nice 1 handed set. She made a number of great defensive plays on the ball and then turned around and made some great saves out of the net. Weiss was getting a second touch on every ball. She competes with a gritty fire and won’t go down without a fight.

Samantha plays with a lot of grit and competitiveness on the court. She is a defensive setter who puts up big numbers in both assists and digs. Samantha’s potential is massive, and she will be fun to watch continue to grow and dominate in future years. She had 16 assists and 10 digs in the state semifinal match.
