How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a high-energy player who gives 100% every time I step on the court. I pride myself on always talking, encouraging my teammates, and bringing a positive but competitive presence to every match. I’m aggressive and hungry for every ball—whether it’s diving for a tough dig or making a hustle play to keep the rally alive. I love the grind, and I bring grit and intensity to every point.

Happy, outgoing, bubbly personality that is able to bring a goldfish mentality to every point.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

- Student of the Month x3 at FMS '24-'25 - Honor Roll for over a 3.7 GPA for all three years of middle school

She recorded key aces and strong serve receive passes in tight sets, approaching her role with the mindset that impact isn’t defined by minutes played, but by readiness and execution. Looking ahead, she’s focused on improving her ability to read the game, recognizing setter dumps, tips, and serve patterns to elevate her defensive awareness. Off the court, Sammie recently earned a 4.0 GPA in her first semester of high school, reflecting the same discipline she brings to the court.

Sammie will compete next at the NCVA Power League Qualifier on January 24–25.
