"I play for A5 Volleyball and have proudly served as Team Captain on every team I’ve been a part of. Being captain has helped me grow as a leader and taught me the value of communication, responsibility, and setting a strong example. What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball and school, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. As a setter and team captain, I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, encourage others, and stay calm under pressure. I understand how important it is to put the team first and always bring a positive attitude

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is learning how to stay confident and positive during tough games or when things don’t go as planned. As a setter, I have to make quick decisions and lead my team, even when we’re behind or struggling. I’ve learned how to handle pressure, shake off mistakes, and keep encouraging my teammates no matter what.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a D1 college where I can keep growing as a setter, contribute to the team, and continue doing what I love—playing volleyball. I’m especially interested in programs that run a 6-2 system and have a strong, supportive team culture focused on development and hard work.
