. I am a 2027 Pin Hitter who plays at
Tstreet Volleyball Club
in Irvine California. I am currently playing a year up on a 16-1s team and last year played two years up at Tstreet on a 16s team as well. The exposure playing at a high competitive level with girls older than me has truly challenged me and developed me with the opportunity to become a better player every practice. On my current team 16-Katie I usually play opposite and sometimes outside. I start in the rotations of 4, 5, 6 as an opposite running a 6-2. I feel what sets me apart as a player is the lifting I do outside of volleyball. I lift multiple times a week as I feel that is a controllable factor I can do that makes me faster and stronger. This year my team got a bid in Utah for Nationals and we will be playing from July 3-6 in Las Vegas.
I am currently a Freshman at Dana Hills High school and played on Varsity my freshman year for both indoor and beach volleyball. As a school our girls indoor program one league and were South Coast League Champions. For beach volleyball I played the top three seeds on varsity and we got second in league and qualified for CIF. We made a run in CIF for both beach and indoor volleyball.
I have been playing volleyball since 10 years old and grew up playing many different sports. Through the past few years I added club beach volleyball as well as it makes me a stronger indoor player.
I take academics very seriously and have a 4.4 GPA challenging myself with many honors classes. Last year I attended the sports school The Together ship which truly showed me everything needed to become a high level athlete. They taught me the importance of nutrition, recovery, proper lifting, and most importantly the mental side of volleyball. I have learned to stay calm in high pressure situations and always have a growth mindset.
Throughout my volleyball career I have played many positions such as middle, libero, outside and opposite. At Tstreet currently I am a pin hitter and I am focused on developing more ball control through serve receive and defense as I feel that base skill of volleyball is the most important.
My goal is to play in college and I have thoughts of majoring in the medical field or real estate. I am open to going anywhere around the country as I am always excited for new opportunities and adventures.
