Expert Analysis
Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
We have room for another rural talent with huge potential at the left-side hitter spot. Sampson’s fearless attitude has yielded nearly two kills per set during the Knights’ ascent to a 19-6 record. The scariest part for Class C2 foes is that Sampson seems to grow more comfortable with increasing reps. She was outstanding during double-digit-kill performances against Lincoln Christian and Sterling, using her sharp crosscourt shot to freeze opposing defenders. That growth could be tested further as Elmwood-Murdock seeks its tournament return.
