Serena Mai Serena Mai Oxford Academy | 2029 CA is set to compete tonight at 6:00 PM at the USAV GJNC Showcase, held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. She’ll be wearing Bib #101 as she takes the court.

Serena Mai Serena Mai Oxford Academy | 2029 CA stepped onto the court at the Sunshine Classic Pre-Tourney Showcase ready to display the hallmarks of an elite libero, sharp passing, relentless digging, and precise serve receive. But beyond technical skills, she wanted to showcase the intangibles that set great athletes apart, effort, sportsmanship, and an unwavering focus on every play. Her goal was simple: to give her best in every moment, both on and off the court.

Competing at the Sunshine Classic in Orlando for the first time with her 14-1s team, Serena set clear objectives. She aimed to stay focused, maintain a strong platform, and be a leader on the floor but just as importantly, she challenged herself to stay positive, not be too hard on herself, and bring energy to her team at all times.

Her preparation reflects her commitment to growth. In addition to three team practices per week, she takes private lessons on weekends, trains on the beach, and works out in the gym to refine her skills and athleticism.
