Linton hopes to turn even more dominant at the net her junior season. Linton has a vastly improved wrist snap leading to a harder downward trajectory leading to more kills as defenders have little time to react. Linton consistently finds openings in different zones on the court. She sends across tough crosses and smacks balls between blocks in the middle and outside. Linton has a tough combination of speed and accuracy on her hits. Linton’s blocking has also improved. She uses her size well to time blocks and put them down.

Sahnia puts her best foot forward at all times. She provides a great block at the net with ample touches and good coverage stemming from a nice vertical with great timing and technique with a great sense of where the play is going to. She puts different moves into play with one handed tips to find the seams or down the line and nice well placed swings which she delivers relentlessly in an all out effort. She reads the court well and communicates well on the court with her teammates. We look forward to seeing more of her play through club

Linton showed she is not afraid of the big stage even though Assumption outmatched her at the net. She kept swinging hard no matter what happened and tried to get hands on balls defensively. Linton stayed tough on the short sets and hit some nice ones off blocks. Linton also landed a sound cross. She’ll be a force in eastern Kentucky these next two seasons.

Linton (pictured) uses her size well to help the Kats control the net in different ways. Linton has a good approach and follow-through at the net. Linton uses a strong vertical to execute ones well. Linton had a number of key solo and double blocks in the victory. Linton added in some tips to shallow part of the court to keep Paintsville guessing. Linton said she does whatever she can to help out the Kats.

Linton helps take heat off Riddle offensively with her presence in the middle. Linton pounds balls to all six zones on the court, mixing in soft hits so defenses to do not key on one spot. Linton is especially helpful on blocks, making sure the defensive specialists do not wear down. She improved during club season going against strong competition.

Linton (pictured) emerged and gave the Kats sound play in the middle. Linton takes passes and deposits them to different parts of the court. She can mix in tips to keep defenses guessing. Linton also does a good job timing up her blocks. Linton had 180 kills, 24 solo blocks and 27 assisted blocks to help Shelby Valley go 27-12, win the 59th District crown and drive to the 15th Region semifinals.
