A setter with a very complete game and all the tools to play at the highest level and makes her team a lot better with her skills. Bruntmyer’s setting game is built upon her excellent ball-handling and her high volleyball IQ and she also stands out in other area because of her hard work and great understanding of the game. Her athleticism also helps her a lot on the court as it allows her to get to passes off the net and to get to balls on defense.

A Pepperdine commit, Bruntmyer will likely be among the top setters in the 17 Open division, where she’ll compete with Tejas 17 Black. We recently had her in one of our Prep Dig Top 250 Expos in Houston and she made an excellent impression on everyone with her solid game. Bruntmyer has some of the best hands in the entire state and it feels like she can hit the same spot with her sets all day long. She’s also very athletic and that shows when she’s tracking passes and playing defense as she’s able to get to balls not many others would. Bruntmyer also works very hard on the court and offers very positive leadership to her teammates.
