About Shelby

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm Shelby Jackson, a Setter for the class of 2029! My love of setting began at the age of 10, where I ran a 5’1 offense and have only improved. I have continued to develop my love of running a successful offense for my Pins. Playing at the highest level at USAV and AAU Nationals each year, has pushed me to work hard, and has helped develop my leadership and teamwork skills.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a focused player with a "team focused" mind-set. My leadership style is encouraging and goal focused. I communicate clearly and appreciate feedback so I can run can offense for my Pins to succeed. My school coach once described me as “a player with a work-hard, can-do positive attitude, that is able to adjust to her hitters needs, and can always be counted on in clutch situations.”
