A new addition to the team this club season, George immediately became a key piece for Houston Skyline 18 Royal with her complete and intense game. A natural-born leader, she plays a big role in the team’s offense, mixing things up with her power and finesse to score at the pin. A very intelligent player, George often makes good decisions at the net and is not a player that will make consecutive errors. She’s also very solid on the backcourt, passing with consistency and making some strong plays on defense.

A new addition to Skyline coming from the Absolute Volleyball Academy, George has been an excellent fit with 18 Royal. She has excellent firepower at the pin, but is also very technical with her shots, a combination that keeps opponents guessing, never knowing what to expect from her. She’s also fairly consistent with her offense and does an excellent job when out-of-system. George is also very solid on the backcourt, generating transition plays with her defense and consistently delivering pinpoint passes, and has a very positive attitude toward her teammates on the court.

The dynamic outside hitter was one of the cornerstones of the team during the entire season, playing important roles in several areas of the game. Very complete offensively, George used her vast arsenal to side out in key moments of matches for the Spartans. Very intelligent in her decision-making, she also made very few mistakes. The senior was also a big part of the team’s serve-receive system and displayed good reading of the game to impact it on defense. George was also important from the service line with her floater.

Stratford’s talismanic outside hitter had an excellent last match in the gym she’s played at such a high level for the most part of the last four years. George was tremendously consistent throughout the match, keeping her side out steady and scoring in difficult situations and key moments. She was pretty resourceful on offense and brought set one to an end with a ridiculous roll shot from the backcourt. The outside hitter also tallied quite a few digs and fired an ace in a important moment early in set three, when Memorial still maintained hopes of extending the match.

The explosive outside hitter has been at the top of her form in her senior season and has been a key piece for the Spartans as they remain undefeated in district play – she also helped the team beat rivals Memorial for the first time in 13 years with 15 kills. George has been a force at the net, leading the team in kills with 322, but has also been instrumental in other areas of the game, also placing at the top of the table in aces (54) and passes (490) and ranking second in digs (265).
