Skylar flew under my radar for the longest time. Her offensive display for Potomac really impressed, almost getting them to the VISAA State championship. They eventually lost to Flint Hill in five in the semi-finals. Skylar led the team with 17 kills. She climbed from 74 to 58 in the rankings.

Her offensive contributions for Virginia Elite allowed them to be one of the top five clubs in the 18U age group. She has a younger sister Raegan Giuliani Raegan Giuliani 5'10" | S/RS The Potomac School | 2029 State VA who will play as a frosh for Potomac next season.

Skylar has committed to Emory.

Skylar moved up in ranking from 82 to 74. Her play for Potomac High elevated them to the surprise team in the Independent School League (ISL). Her play earned her a spot on the AA ISL All League team.

Even as a middle she led the team in kills with a hitting percentage of .339. She also led the team in blocks. The Potomac School was just two points from getting to the finals of the VISAA state championship, losing to Flint Hill 15-13. Skylar finished with 17 kills in that match.

This season the Emory College commit will play for Virginia Elite, the third player from this group playing for them.

When the season started not a lot of people thought the Panthers would be one of the powers of the Independent School League (ISL). Quietly they played their schedule losing to Bullis and Georgetown Day. A five set win over Flint Hill made them the talk of the conference. In the first round of championship play they took Georgetown Day to five games before losing 15-11 in the fifth set.

Skylar led the team in kills with 19 in that win over Flint Hill. She also put together six blocks. For a middle she leads the team in kills with a team leading .336 hitting percentage as well as leads the team in blocks. Her play has made the Panthers relevant in the ISL. Now they hope to extend that relevancy to the VISAA.
