Scott was part of the Austin Skyline 17 Black team that got win in their five matches at the Lone Star Regionals. She only played the three backcourt rotations, but did a good job in terms of impacting the game with her game. A tall setter, she displayed great mobility to get to the ball and make plays. Scott was solid with her distribution and accelerated the game when she could, feeding the middles in transition plays every time she had a chance.

From Texas, Skyler is not a stranger to the spotlight at the Prep Dig Showcases and Top 250 Expo as she participated and has been recognized for her top performances during those events. The Sunshine Classic Showcase wasn’t an exception, Skyler continues to show her growth as a setter and teammate. Skyler knows how to use her height to her advantage maintaining a high contact with the ball when setting. She also has good mobility on the court, displaying her speed towards the ball and placing the sets right on target. Skyler character shows perseverance and hard-working ethics as she continues to utilize every opportunity available to demonstrate her skills. Looking forward to seeing her continuing to improve and set herself within the top players on her states and class of ’26.

Scott was in two of our Showcases last summer, in Dallas and Houston, and was recognized for her great play on both. After playing a solid role with Cedar Ridge during the high school season, we’re looking forward to seeing which new tools she added to her game. Scott is obviously a tall setter and she uses every single benefit that comes with it on the court, but she has the mobility and the technique of a shorter player. She’s very good at incorporating strategy into her ball distribution but is also very effective when making last-second decisions. Her ball-handling is always on point and, despite her young age, she manages to set to every position with the same level of efficiency.

Scott was one of the standouts in our Prep Dig Stock Up Showcase in Dallas, two weeks ago, and she took full advantage of the opportunity to raise her stock in the Houston area too. Her game is very well-developed from a technical standpoint and she adds a lot to it with her quick thinking and smart decision-making. A tall setter, Scott uses her height contact point very well, playing fast when she has a chance, but not lacking in accuracy or consistency. She also displayed a great attitude on the court, playing with a smile on her face and positive words.
