The players in this article were selected as Top Performers Setters due to their setting skills and several attributes on the court.
I first saw Eva during the Top 250 Expo in Jacksonville a few months back and immediately noticed her setting and offensive skills. She was selected one of the Top Performers during the event as she displayed excellent all-around skills. Eva is a six rotational player with exceptional ball handling, she also has the strength to set the ball from pin to pin and the capability of making a great play out of a difficult passing situation. In addition to her setting, she is a resourceful hitter from the left and right side as she is one of the pivotal offensive players on her 17U team. I will continue watching her growth as she continues improving. A must watch for class ’26.

Reagan came from North Carolina to show her setting and hitting skills during the showcase. As a member of the Piedmont Volleyball Club NTR 17, Reagan plays several roles for her team. She is a six rotational player and started setter for her team. I had the opportunity of watching her playing during the Sunshine Classic Qualifiers 17 Open Division, she has a great connection with the middle and pin attackers. She ran fast balls in the middle and corners successfully connecting and producing several assists. In addition to her setting attributes, Reagan’s passing, defensive and serving skills are noteworthy.

From Texas, Skyler is not a stranger to the spotlight at the Prep Dig Showcases and Top 250 Expo as she participated and has been recognized for her top performances during those events. The Sunshine Classic Showcase wasn’t an exception, Skyler continues to show her growth as a setter and teammate. Skyler knows how to use her height to her advantage maintaining a high contact with the ball when setting. She also has good mobility on the court, displaying her speed towards the ball and placing the sets right on target. Skyler character shows perseverance and hard-working ethics as she continues to utilize every opportunity available to demonstrate her skills. Looking forward to seeing her continuing to improve and set herself within the top players on her states and class of ’26.

Lauren is a young player with an abundance of talent and room to growth as a setter and in any other position on the court. She is a class 2028 from South Carolina, currently playing for the SC Midlands on the 16U division. As one of the youngest players during the first session of the showcase, Lauren showed her setting and offensive skills catching the attention of the coaches. Her technical skills were noticeable as she played along with some of the toughest players on the event. Lauren is already getting the experience of playing at a higher level, as she continues to develop her all-around skills she will find her way among the top players in her state.

Ellie is from Atlanta, Georgia and is currently playing for the M2 Volleyball Club 17U. The coaches at the Sunshine Classic were impressed with her consistent setting and communication with her teammates. Ellie was able to connect with hitters that she never played before, demonstrating her capability to adapt to any teams’ offensive needs. During the Qualifiers she ran a 5-1 offense showing her setting and leadership skills on the court. Clearly, she has the potential to become a star setter within her class of ’26.

Eva is a talented setter; she received several recognitions for her setting abilities in her state of Colorado during the past high school season. Her 2023 performance earned the recognition of Player of the Game several times during the season. As she performed during the Showcase was evident that her hard work was paying off as she was able to connect with hitters from different skill levels. Her personality was vibrant as I saw her at the court engaging with new teammates. In addition to her great performance at the showcase, she was able to carry out the same energy during the qualifiers assisting her team during the tough competition in the 17U division. Eva needs to be on the radar for class 2026.
