She does not get a lot of setting opportunities playing for Wootton since Taryn Su Taryn Su 5'7" | S Wootton | 2026 State VA set a 5/1 in the matches I watched. However, she brings strong hands to the court and shows accuracy with her location when she does set. At 5’6″ her height may be a bit undersized to play the front row. For the club season she should get the opportunity to set for Metro North.

Sofia does create some versatility in her game by playing as a defensive specialist when she does not set for Wootten. She showed quickness when playing defense while at the setter’s position at the Prep Dig event. This should translate easily as a defensive specialist.
