Olson has a motor that just doesn’t quit. She is closing blocks and running routes to make herself available, rally after rally. Olson was also hitting the deep corners with an off-speed ball that the defense just couldn’t get a handle on. She also went on some serving runs and made some big defensive plays out of left back. Olson was doing a great job of finding the blockers and working sharp angles.

Sophia is a player on the rise in this class. She has really developed in her shot selection and physicality on the court. She really exploded onto my radar last year and has only continued to grow her game at an impressive rate ever since. Sophia improved from 40 to 38 in the rank.

17 National out of the Wausau area. She has length, athleticism and physicality that poses a problem for her opponents. She is a defensive force that can also get out of her block to transition quickly to score points for her team as well.

is 6’1 with plenty of athleticism and physicality. She is a middle blocker primarily who hits a real heavy ball, making it tough for the other side of the net to cleanly receive. She can find the open spots on the court as well as use the opposing block to her advantage.

17 National did some damage in Prep Dig Events in 2024 and will have a strong core of their team back in 2025. Many of these athletes are coming off high school seasons where they collected plenty of post season honors.

Sophia earned solid playing time as a sophomore on varsity last year; however, this year, she could go from good to dominant. She has developed so much over the club season. Her power, athleticism, and court awareness were all impressive throughout the Sizzle. She could have some huge stat lines for Marshfield this year.

She reads well when blocking and is a superb first line of defense for her team. Sophia adds value in every aspect of her game and is an athlete who is still on the rise.

Sophia OWNS the net. Even since I saw her play two weeks ago at the Resolution, her speed, court awareness, and setter connection have improved significantly. Her swings pack a punch, and I would not want to be on the other side of the net when she swings on an overpass. Sophia is quickly establishing herself as a player on the rise in Wisconsin.
