Middle

Last season’s 4A State Tournament MVP hasn’t slowed down with Pulaski Academy’s move to 5A. Greenwood continues to be a force in the middle, producing offensively, controlling the net and creating problems from the service line.

Season: 248 kills | .331 hitting | 55 blocks | 55 aces

248 Kills | .331 | 55 Blocks | 55 Aces | 34 Assists

Pulaski Academy: 9-5

Greenwood’s numbers jumped out at me when I really started looking at them.

She has 248 kills while hitting .331. For a middle, that’s a lot of offensive production. Then you add 55 blocks and 55 aces.

Greenwood is scoring points at the net, behind the service line and as an attacker. She has quickly moved herself right into the middle of this race.

Sophie Greenwood Sophie Greenwood 5'10" | MB Pulaski Academy | 2027 State AR has a habit of making big plays when they matter most. She proved that in the 2025 Class 4A State Championship, earning State Tournament MVP after finishing with 18 kills and six blocks. While she is naturally a middle, Greenwood can play all three front-row positions, giving Coach Jason Lambert plenty of lineup flexibility. She’s a wild card with tremendous energy every time she steps on the court.

As Pulaski Academy moves up to Class 5A, Greenwood will be counted on to lead a younger front row and replace key pieces from last year’s championship team. Her experience, versatility, and competitive fire make her a strong Prep Dig Arkansas Player of the Year nominee.
