Srbui Kirakosyan Srbui Kirakosyan 5'5" | OH/RS The Science Academy STEM Magnet | 2029 CA ‘s freshman season was her first season of volleyball, period, and the distance she’s traveled since is the story. She played timid that first year, relying on teammates to show her what competing looked like. Now she describes herself as aspiring to lead the next wave of players who are just starting out, the way she once needed someone to lead her. Her growth this spring has centered on becoming a complete outside hitter, pushing herself to incorporate serving, passing, defense, and hitting into every practice and film session. She’s also planning to start filming her own practices with her mother’s help so she can review her decision-making, a level of self-scouting that’s unusual this early in a career. Her recruiting is just getting started, with an NCSA profile and a PrepDig subscription in place as she begins attending more camps and clinics.
