Stella, spending time up an age group last spring at Circle, is more than capable of running the offense by herself, thankyouverymuch. Her aggressive style of play—-from attacking on two to getting to nearly every second ball that’s even remotely near her——is innate in her volleyball personality. 1A Greenwood Christian is a better team because of Stella’s presence, and has the tools and the talent to really carry her squad far in October.

Stella has spent the summer playing up an age group for Circle City 15 White, and on Sunday, she made it clear why. Stella possesses advanced leadership traits at a young age, communicating effectively with teammates. A smart and confident player, Stella makes the game slow down and never seems to be rushed. Stella is always looking for opportunities to dump and plays aggressively at the net. Her combination of athleticism, technique, and volleyball IQ makes her a player worth paying close attention to in the 2030 class.

I haven’t even started the 2030 recruiting watch list yet, but if I did, Stella would be one of the first I’d add. From a family of Reeds at GCA that love their volleyball, Stella falls right in line with using her athleticism and volleyball acuity to make setting look very natural early on in her career. Although she’s tucked away on Circle’s 15 White squad, she’s had a ton of experience this spring playing bigger, stronger and faster competition and doing just fine in holding her own.
