About Summer

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My positions are OH/RS/DS. I love expressing my positivity with my team. I try my hardest not only on the court but to be the biggest cheerleader on the team throughout any given situation.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm very positive and outgoing. I love being able to play volleyball throughout the week with my team. My mentality improves as I gain more confidence in myself. I do tend to keep a positive mindset through ups and downs at tournaments and practices because I believe that being a team is one of the biggest things in gameplay.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I also Swim for Bryant High school and will continue to be best I can for both sports. I do FBLA, Beta Club, student council, ambassador, and I hope to do more my nexts years of high school. Out of school I'm a member of FASCA, the ACAA community, and a court facilitator for an annual tennis tournament in Little Rock. I have over 200 volunteer hours and have won awards for FBLA business projects.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong positivity mindsets, leadership towards my teams, and great communications skills. I learn that not everything just shows up in front of me, I have to work with others and fight for what want. I've also learned that I need to set small and big standards for myself because it takes one step at a time.

What type of college are you looking for?

I look for colleges that have good programs for not only sports, but academics as well. If I do reach the goal of being a college athlete, I hope to find a welcoming team that works together and is at a very strong level. I want to meet people and even "compete" with people that are stronger in things I am weak at, to see what I need to do to become to that level.
