Another standout 2029 libero, Jordyn recently gained high praise from Prep Dig National Scout Michael DeLeon. “She is the kind of prospect whose best tools tend to show up most clearly in the showcase format, where the defensive read and the first step carry more weight than they do in a box score.”

Jordyn is a solid defender and is up to the challenge of commanding the back row. She even has the ability to hit from the back row as she has spent some time on the front lines. That makes her an offensive threat as well as a defensive stalwart. She’s a very vocal leader and has solid first contact and set her team up for success on offense. Stanfield transitions very well and has the ability to set when needed. Her volleyball IQ is top notch and she will be fun to watch going into her sophomore year at Bryant High School. Her EVA 15 Elite team battled hard, but came up short in the challenge round to the eventual Liberty bracket National Champions.

Jordyn is a 5’5″ libero who has been ranked by Prep Dig in an Arkansas class of 2029 that has some solid ballers. That placement tells me that I should be watching her very closely to see how she fares against the best of other states that will be in attendance. Liberos at this age who reach national showcase environments are almost always winning with platform discipline, lateral floor coverage, and an ability to read attackers early rather than reacting late. Stanfield is a pretty versatile player on 15 Elite. She puts up impressive serve receive numbers and is great at keeping her team in system. Though she is not the tallest attacker on the court, she does a great job at swinging around the block and transitioning out from passing to hitting.
