Sydney has an off-the-charts volleyball IQ that she uses to her team’s advantage. She can use her middles to pull blockers and then flip the ball back to the RS or out to the OH to get them one-on-ones. She can read these real-time changes in the other teams’ blocking to feed the ball to the best hitter when in the system. Sydney is also talented in the out-of-system setting game. She utilizes both her hands and platform to set up out-of-system balls to give her team a chance to swing on an otherwise chaotic play. It will be so fun to see how Sydney does this club season as well as for the All-State Large West team in July.
