I’ve had the good fortune of scouting Comer compete in person twice this club season. The Davenport West freshman was impacting matches at the Iowa Invitational in January and doing the same thing when watching her at the 2026 Nike President’s Day Classic in St. Louis. Comer is every bit of the 5-foot-11 at which she’s listed. She plays even taller thanks to long arms and leaping ability. Comer moves well and is agile. There’s still rawness to her game, but that will smooth out with more reps. The foundation for success is excellent. She shows a good feel for throwing up the block and can put the ball down when getting a clean swing. Comer is one to watch moving forward. She came up with 59.0 blocks as a Falcon freshman.

I really enjoyed watching her throughout club season—her size, movement, and energy stood out every time she stepped on the court. Whether she’s closing blocks, swinging off the right side, or running quicks in the middle, Tatum brings a strong and steady presence to the front row. Heading into her freshman year at Davenport High School, she’s the kind of impact player you want at the net—and someone we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the next four years.
